A visionary in fashion design, Lisa Alexander has taken her years of experience in the couture fashion industry and launched three different lines in the United States. Lisa Catherine Alexander is a fifth generation Californian. She is a Dame of Malta and a member of the Society of California Pioneers. Ms. Alexander resides in San Francisco and is actively involved in numerous charity and community causes including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Holy Family Day Home, the Fight Against Breast Cancer, the UCLA Foundation, the Guardsman of San Francisco and The Parks Trust to name a few..
An international adventurer, Lisa has climbed Kilimanjaro, sailed with the America's Cup team on the sailboat Defiance, and modeled for Givenchy and Valentino in Europe and New York. She spent five years living in London, Switzerland and India and the combination of these experiences gives an international perspective to her sense of fashion and style. Lisa's' travel articles are written up in Jetset extra as well as The Huffington Post and in 2004 she launched her '60s influenced line "L.C. Alexander" inspired by the elegance and timelessness of icons Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy Onassis. This collection received widespread attention in international fashion circles. Her next venture was the highly successful children's line "Spike and Annie" which had a large celebrity following; And now this exciting, innovative and environmentally aware collections catalogue " PLAYALEXANDER ". featuring the "KIDSAGOGO" label for the charming children's clothing department. Also soon on the horizon after three years of research and development comes the launching of her skin care line " LAFACE " which will feature 100% certified organic serums and natural products.
